The queries were read in this meeting with answers thereto, which are directed to be forwarded to the ensuing Quarterly Meeting in which we appoint our representatives, A. W. Wasson, Calvin Barnard and Simon Jones, and they are directed to report to next meeting.

First Answer

All our meetings for worship and discipline have been attended by most Friends but a great lack is manifest in some in that important duty; unbecoming behavior avoided; the hour of meeting nearly observed.

Second Answer

Friends are mostly preserved in Christian love though there is a lack in one or two instances; talebearing and detracting discouraged; when differences arise endeavors are used to end them.

Third Answer

Friends endeavor by example and precept to educate their children and those under their care in the principles of Christian religion and in plainness of speech, deportment and apparel. They are guarded against pernicious reading and from corrupt conversation and encouraged to read the Holy Scriptures diligently.

(P 74) Fourth Answer

Friends are clear in the particulars of that query as far as we know.

Fifth Answer

No poor amongst us requiring aid.

Sixth Answer

No cause for complaint in the several particulars of this query.

Seventh Answer

No cause for complaint under the several heads of this query.

Answer Eighth

Care is taken to deal with offenders seasonably and impartially and to endeavor to evince to those who will not be reclaimed the spirit of meekness and love before judgment is placed upon them. The advices were read and considered.
