The Friends appointed at last meeting to attend Quarterly Meeting report that one of them attended.

Eunice Allen requests a certificate for herself and family conveyed to Kansas Monthly Meeting. Sarah Ann Mendenhall and Elizabeth Holaday are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to inquire and if nothing hinders, to prepare and produce one to our next meeting.

Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 4th 16th 1864.

Our beloved Friend Penelope Gardner acceptably attended this meeting and produced a minute of unity and concurrence from Kansas Monthly meeting of Friends dated 3rd month 16th 1864 whose company and gospel labors have been satisfactory to us. Our beloved Friend Huldah Winslow acceptably attended this Meeting in company with Penelope Gardner and produced a minute of unity from Kansas Monthly Meeting of Friends held 3rd month 16th 1864. Our beloved Friend William Gardner in company with his wife Penelope Gardner acceptable attended this Meeting with a minute of unity from Kansas Monthly Meeting dated 3rd month 16th 1864 which was satisfactory to us.

The committee appointed at last meeting on account of Eunice Allen's request not being ready to report are continued and directed to report to next meeting when complied with.

(P 40) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 5th month 29th 1864. The clerk not being present, Mary C. Jones was appointed clerk for the day.

A certificate was received, read, and accepted for Solomon Edwards and his wife Mahala and their minor children--Martha, Mary, Catharine, Eliza, Lucinda and Elizabeth Edwards--dated 4th month 9th 1864.

Jane Durham, Sarah Ann Mendenhall and Mary E. Dunbar are appointed in opening and superintending a first-day school and report in 9th month next.

The Friends appointed in Eunice Allen's case report not complied with and they are continued till next meeting.

Washington Wasson and Mary his wife request to become members of this Meeting. Sarah Ann Mendenhall and Mary C. Jones are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to visit them and report the result to next meeting.

Sarah Ann Mendenhall and Elizabeth Burks and Milicent Jones are appointed to attend the ensuing Quarterly Meeting and report what may be given in charge.

A communication was received from Bloomfield Monthly Meeting, Indiana, request this Meeting to treat with Sarah K. Grant for accomplishing her marriage contrary to discipline. Lucinda Barnard and Mary Wasson are appointed to treat with her in the subject and report to next meeting.

The Friends appointed to propose suitable Friends to serve this Meeting as overseers propose the names of Louisa Dunbar and Mary Dunbar with whom this Meeting unites and they are appointed to that station.

The Friends appointed to treat with Sarah K. Grant for accomplishing her marriage contrary to discipline report they had an opportunity with her to good satisfaction and Lovisa W. Gause is appointed to inform Bloomfield Monthly Meeting the result and report to this Meeting when complied with.
